Get Ready To Bundle Up, The Farmers’ Almanac is Predicting Freezing Cold Temperatures This Winter In North Dakota

Discusses the issue of encountering too many redirects on a website and potential solutions.

It's no secret whatsoever that it can be a little chilly - to say it nicely - here in North Dakota. Typical winter temperatures are below freezing and sometimes stormy, so it's no surprise to hear that the Farmers’ Almanac winter weather forecast shows much of the same for this coming winter.

Okay, alright - there's no accurate way to forecast the weather an entire season ahead of time, but it's definitely fun to read it, remember it, and then see how accurate it was when all is said and done come spring! And, here it is: according to the Farmers' Almanac and its winter forecast for North Dakota, it's going to be... ridiculously cold.

Surely, nobody saw that coming, of course. :) This year, North Dakota sits in the middle of what they call the "Hibernation Zone." Might be time to stock up on hot chocolate and firewood! Though many states should have about-average snowfall, North Dakota may see a spike this year.

The Almanac predicts that North Dakota and its surrounding region will see plenty of snowstorms and, unfortunately, colder-than-average temps.

...as if it wasn't already chilly enough!

Thanks, Farmers' Almanac.

Typically, North Dakota can expect about 50 days per year with temperatures below zero degrees Fahrenheit.

The lowest temperature ever recorded in North Dakota was - hold on to your warm fuzzy hats - -60 degrees Fahrenheit, back in 1936.

Could the Peace Garden State see temperatures so frigid again this year?

It's not out of the realm of possibility, of course, though thankfully it's not statistically likely. Even still, though, the Almanac says it might just happen... so make sure you bust out the warm clothes early this year. You know, just in case.

Honestly, we're not even sure why anyone would want to visit North Dakota in the winter.

At least one thing is for sure: it's intensely beautiful here year-round, even when covered in snow (and sometimes ice).

North Dakota is delightfully photogenic, and snowy days are just another great excuse to bust the camera out and go on a road trip.
