North Carolina’s Campbell Creek Loop Trail Leads To A Magnificent Hidden Oasis
Campbell Creek Loop Trail in Raven Rock State Park offers a serene hiking experience with a hidden waterfall oasis.
When is the last time you've gone on an adventure? Campbell Creek Loop Trail will take you to a peaceful waterfall that is its own little hidden oasis in the park. Grab your bucket list, and mark it down for a future road trip or adventure. Nature awaits!
Today's adventure takes us to a spot named Raven Rock State Park and a trail called Campbell Creek Loop.
This 4.6-mile trail isn't too hard to navigate or to climb, as long as you have stable shoes and maybe a good stick. There's even multiple paths to take out here, if you have extra time to come back around to follow another path.
From the outside, you might not notice just how beautiful this trail can be. When the light hits the water just right, it sparkles, and near sunset, it shines with the sky.
You've found the little oasis, right here on this unsuspecting route. Though this waterfall is nowhere near the height or the power of many other falls in North Carolina, that's what makes it perfect. Sitting by the calming flow of water here is simply soothing. Not every waterfall has to be exciting, after all.
After you've had your fill of relaxation, head home, or check out one of the other paths for a nature adventure to remember.
Make sure everything you bring out leaves with you, to keep nature the way we love it most. Clean trails make happy hikers!
