The Shining Creek Path to Little East Fork Trail is possibly the best hike near Fork Township, North Carolina. Drive 14 miles to and under the Blue Ridge Parkway where the Big East Fork parking area can be found approximately 3 miles further on the left. The Shining Creek Trail leaves the west end of the parking area.
