This is one of the quicker and easier winter hikes in New Hampshire, a moderate trail that spans 1.9 miles. Just because it's a quick adventure, don't think it won't pack some big surprises. The trail leads to one of the most beautiful vistas in the state, not far from the charming town of Rochester. Blue Job Mountain might be the most accessible mountain peak in New Hampshire, reached via a 1.9-mile trail. The hike has an elevation gain of 426 feet, so this should be doable for anyone with a good pair of hiking boots.

This is a fantastic hike for those who love the outdoors, and you'll usually find birdwatchers and hikers here. However, during winter it's a little less crowded, which makes it great for a leisurely stroll. Dogs are welcome and can be off-leash in designated areas.

The view is incredible: You can see across much of New Hampshire. Keep an eye out for the summit sign. You can't miss the pile of rocks holding it in place, and it makes an amazing photo op. But it's not the most famous sight along this trail.
