The Underrated Sandy Beach In Montana You Absolutely Need To Visit
Bozeman Beach in Montana offers a perfect lakeside retreat with activities like beach volleyball and paddle boarding.
Cooler temperatures have started to hit Montana, but many of us aren't quite ready to let summer go. Luckily, we've still got a little time to hit some of our beautiful lakeside beaches. And if you've never been to Bozeman Beach, we highly recommend you check it out before sweater season starts.
Bozeman Beach is part of the East Gallatin Recreation Area Park at 830 Manley Road.
This is where you'll find Bozeman's little piece of sandy paradise.
The park is open daily from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m. for games like beach volleyball and paddle boarding...
... and on a warm summer day, there's really no better place to be.
Montana might not have any ocean beaches, but this stretch of sand is the next best thing.
On any given day, you'll see plenty of Montanans fishing for trout on the shores of the East Gallatin.
The lake isn't stocked very often, so this may seem optimistic, but some people have good luck.
While the park is open all year, it's definitely more popular during the warmer months.
You can even rent the pavilion for private parties.
And when you've had enough beautiful water and sand in your life (hey, it happens) you can always take a break and enjoy a cold beer at Map Brewing, which is located right next to the beach.
In addition to their excellent beer selection, Map also happens to serve tasty food.
Bozeman Beach is a great place to be on a warm, sunny day. And since fall is fast approaching, you'll want to spend as many days as you can enjoying Montana's beautiful beaches.
