Of course, the highlight of the cozy state park, which spans nearly 137 acres, is Elephant Rocks, a series of boulders that looks just like elephants lined up in a circus train.

Created from granite more than 1.5 billion years old, the boulders are popular with visitors of all ages, including the kiddos who often climb on the elephant train.

The boulders are big and sturdy enough to climb. In fact, the largest elephant, with the moniker Dumbo, stands 27 feet tall and weighs 680 tons.

For the easiest route to Elephant Rocks, follow the one-mile Braille Trail, designed specifically for those who are visually impaired and physically disabled.
