Drenched in natural and manmade beauty, Hogsback Trail wanders 1.5 miles through Klondike Park in Augusta.
While the trail garners an easy rating from All Trails, you'll definitely want to be prepared for the somewhat rocky terrain along the way.
The trail also gets pretty muddy when it's wet outside, so you might want to slip on a pair of shoes you don't mind getting messy.

Unfortunately, swimming and boating are not permitted in the river at Klondike Park, although you can go fishing if you're up for it.
Before you head out on the trail, make sure you have insect repellent during the warmer months. The trail can get busy at times, and you'll deal with slight inclines, which could pose a challenge for some hikers.
