Just a few paces from the parking lot, you’re greeted by an unexpected view that seems to stretch on forever: an open glade teeming with wildflowers in spring and a breathtaking frost-covered scene in winter. Welcome to Valley View Glades Natural Area, one of Missouri’s hidden gems, where the landscape tells a story of a time long past.

As you trek through the winding trails, you’ll find yourself navigating a mix of woodlands, rocky outcrops, babbling streams, and mini waterfalls. Each step reveals more of this diverse landscape.
