Eminence, Missouri, is a unique small town in the Ozarks known for its natural beauty, outdoor activities, and wildlife.

Located in rural south-central Missouri, Eminence is in the heart of the Ozark National Scenic Riverways.

Some of Missouri's most popular outdoor attractions, like Alley Springs Mill, are located within the Ozark National Scenic Riverways just outside of the Eminence city limits.

Eminence has been established since the mid 1800's and some locals state that the town received its name because of the town's high elevation. However, there is no proof to this claim.

Missouri's largest and bluest spring, aptly named Blue Spring, can also be found just outside of Eminence.

Whether you enjoy fishing, floating, or hiking along the rivers you can find plenty of opportunities to do it all in Eminence.

One of the most magical aspects of Eminence is the herd of wild horses that can be found roaming the countryside.

You can also find elk grazing in Eminence. There is such an abundance of wildlife in the area it would be surprising not to encounter some type of critter.

Geological wonders are also present in Eminence, these shut-ins are typically only found throughout the Ozarks region in Missouri.
