1. Lake Tiak-O’Khata, Louisville

There are several swimming holes, sandbars, canoe landings, and outfitters along this National Wild and Scenic River, which runs right through DeSoto National Forest. If you love being on the water, paddle down Black Creek and even camp along the way if you're feeling adventurous.

7. Chewalla Lake, Holly Springs
