Spring is the perfect time to get out outside and experience the beauty of Massachusetts. With so much natural splendor to take in, it’s not always easy picking a hike. Luckily, we’ve pulled together a few of the best spring hikes in Massachusetts to take while the weather is warming up and the intense heat of summer is still on the horizon.
1. Fort Hill Trail, Eastham
This one-mile hike within the Cape Cod National Seashore in Eastham is perfect for late spring or early summer, as it will take you straight to the water and allow you to experience plenty of sunshine. The lack of shade may be a bother during the hotter months, but hikers visiting in May or June should be quite comfortable. This hike is kid-friendly, so bring the little ones!
