Located in Louisville, the Waterfront Botanical Gardens is a beautiful spot to visit when you want some fresh air and a change of scenery. And during the holidays, they host a very special Christmas light display in Kentucky called Gardens Aglimmer. Advanced tickets are required, so take a closer look and see if you'd like to visit this year or plan ahead to not miss out in years to come.

The Waterfront Botanical Gardens sits along the Ohio River in Louisville and is a beautiful destination all year long. They are open throughout winter and during the month of December, they host the special event, Gardens Aglimmer.

You'll then choose a time slot and arrive then to keep the crowd spaced out. Once you do arrive, you may stay as long as you like. It's not a massive light display, but you can easily spend an hour or so slowly making your way around the property.
