Take To The Skies This Summer At This Accessible Treehouse Village In Iowa

Iowa's many botanical gardens and arboretums are incredible to visit during the spring and summer, and one that I think deserves more attention is the Iowa Arboretum & Gardens in the small town of Madrid. It's a stunning landscape no matter when you visit, but if you haven't been in a while, it's the perfect time to make a return - because its Treehouse Village, an innovative and accessible treehouse playground in Iowa, sponsored by Adele and Dean Bowden, is set to open in 2024.

There's never a bad time to visit the Iowa Arboretum & Gardens, but now, there's a new incentive.

Welcome to Treehouse Village, a nature-themed playground that is designed to enthrall kids of all ages and abilities.

While the treehouse playground isn't particularly high, it's set in nature in a way that will feel thrilling to young guests.

With swinging bridges and rope climbs, it has an adventure around every corner.

The playground is full of enclaves with little surprises - like this miniature climbing wall.

There are also some amazing vantage points for kids to get great views of the larger Arboretum.

And yes, of course, there will be some old-fashioned playground thrills like slides!
