This Easy, 1.5-Mile Trail Leads To Kissing Falls, One Of Indiana’s Most Underrated Waterfalls

There's a natural hidden wonder in Lagro that few people know about; it's a lot of fun to explore. Kissing Falls in Indiana is as lovely a waterfall as they come, and it's worth visiting for any nature lover in the Hoosier State. Situated within the Kokiwanee Nature Preserve, Kissing Falls is a little-known waterfall that is worth exploring if you love nature and natural attractions.

Formed by a stream falling over the drop-off of the cut-out of a rock formation, these falls are beautiful to view just about any time of year.

Most stunning in the spring and summer months after a rainfall, Kissing Falls is also part of the Salamonie State Forest and is part of a stream near the Salamonie River.

Hiking this path is just 1.5 miles in total, and it will loop you back to where you started. It is great for hiking, running, dog walking, and more, although, not really a suitable hike for young children, as the portion of the trail to the bottom of the falls is more difficult.

Signs lead you to the falls once you arrive at the park. There are multiple paths within the trail that allow you to see the waterfall from different angles.

A couple of other waterfalls can be found along this trail as well, a beautiful waterfall hike in Indiana. While Kissing Falls is just a short walk into the forest, the other two are found deeper within.
