Baumann Park is a beautiful park located in Cherry Valley, Illinois, a small town on the outskirts of Rockford.
Visitors will find the beautiful Baumann Park Lake situated at the center of the park. Fishing is permitted in the lake.
The hiking path is paved and circles the outside of the lake, offering a great view throughout the duration of your hike. At just 1.25 miles, it is accessible for hikers of all levels.
Before or after your hike you might be interested in other features of the park including playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, and picnic areas. Parking is available to all visitors at 300 S. Walnut St.
Thanks to the short distance and paved path, all visitors will find this to be a friendly hike. For those looking to really take their time, there are picnic tables and benches for resting all along the trail.
