I know that many visitors to Florida choose to frequent the theme parks, the beaches, or even the major cities with always-bustling nightlife, but there is something so simple - and so unappreciated about state parks that I think needs to be highlighted. Take Avalon State Park in Fort Pierce as the perfect example. This incredible state park has so much to offer visitors, especially anyone looking to enjoy the natural wildlife that calls this place home.

Avalon State Park is a truly special place, boasting over a mile of untouched, pristine beachfront that's becoming increasingly rare these days. The best part is that this park is home to a wide variety of wildlife, making it a haven for nature lovers!
