It's a great escape, only minutes from downtown.

2. Ludlow Falls in Ludlow Falls, OH

A little over an hour's drive to the small town of Ludlow Falls will bring you to a surprising 15-foot-tall fall. Located near the town's post office, under a bridge, it's easy to access and a relaxing stop if you're in the area.

3. Charleston Falls in Tipp City, OH

The picturesque Charleston Falls Preserve is not far from Ludlow Falls, home to a 37-foot waterfall. The area is excellent for hiking and picnics, and the viewing area is perfect for relaxing.

4. Fallsville Falls in New Vienna, OH

About an hour northeast of Cincinnati is a hidden gem: Fallsville Wildlife Area. The listed address will take you to the parking area, and then you will simply follow a gravel dirt road down into the woods and along a path until you hear the crashing water.
