Located not far from the heart of downtown San Diego it is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
No other place in Southern California is more universally adored than this magnificent 1,200-acre urban park.
There are so many things to do at Balboa Park. It is brimming with nature, culture, world-class museums, and one of the country's most epic zoos.
The architecture throughout the park is exquisite.
From Spanish Colonial Revival to Mission Revival and even Pueblo Revival, you'll find a variety of architectural styles relfecting Southern California's early history that will completely dazzle you.
A stroll through Balboa Park is like experiencing a small slice of heaven on earth.

These trails provide a lush green respite from the great big city. We so love this local park because it truly has everything!

Good thing there's a mouthwatering restaurant onsite -- The Prado at Balboa Park -- where you can dine outside with a view while enjoying that fresh SoCal breeze.
The structures in the park is simply stunning.
That's another reasons why we love it here so much, including for taking photos.
