In our experience, one of the best ways to beat the heat is to cool off in a refreshing dip in any ol' body of water we can find. Luckily, there are more than a few swimming holes in Alabama to check out where you can do just that. In fact, some of these gorgeous spots you might not even know exist till you stumble upon them! One place where you'll find not one, but two epic swimming holes to visit is in Blue Springs State Park. Here, you'll find a pair of incredible spring-fed pools that are as idyllic as they come.

Blue Springs State Park is located off the beaten path in the tiny town of Clio. It's one of Alabama's most underrated state parks.

During your visit to Blue Springs State Park, you'll notice two spring-fed pools. These unique pools attract swimmers of all ages.

These Alabama natural springs are just that: all natural.

The water inside these spring-fed pools maintains a temperature of 68 degrees all year long. Also, for each minute you're swimming in these pools, approximately 3,600 gallons of water is pumped into them.

Unless you're a local, you might not be familiar with this tiny state park, which means you likely don't know these glittering pools even exist.

But the moment you set eyes on these two springs in Alabama, you'll understand why they're such popular swimming holes among the locals!
