A Beautiful Secluded Hike, Sweathouse Falls Trail, Leads To A Little-Known Waterfall In Montana

Hiking in Montana is always a beautiful experience, but there’s something especially wonderful about a waterfall hike. Something about that tranquil cascade awaiting us at the end of the trail is enough to keep us going. And while there are plenty of well-known and easily accessible waterfall hikes in the Treasure State, the Sweathouse Falls trail manages to stay largely off the radar — and it just happens to be an excellent day hike.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life as we all practice social and physical distancing. While we’re continuing to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, we don’t expect or encourage you to go check them out immediately. We believe that supporting local attractions is important now more than ever and we hope our articles inspire your future adventures!
