Stay In A Victorian Paradise At The Gibson Mansion In Montana
Once upon a time, at the turn of the 20th century, A.J. Gibson designed a Victorian-style mansion for Swedish immigrant and Missoula pharmacist Gustav Peterson and his family. They lived at the Peterson Mansion for 22 years before moving on. The mansion then became apartments and even a fraternity house before it was fully renovated in 2001. Now, the Gibson Mansion is one of the best bed & breakfasts in Missoula.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The home sits on a quiet, peaceful lot perfect for enjoying some rest and relaxation.

The parlor is a cozy place to curl up with a good book, especially when a fire is burning in the cast iron fireplace.

The experience begins with morning coffee or tea and freshly baked pastries delivered to your door, so you can wake up slowly. Then, you can arrange to be seated in the elegant dining room between 7 and 9:30 a.m. or have a breakfast tray delivered to your room if you request one ahead of time.

Each room at the bed & breakfast is uniquely decorated and designed with guest comfort in mind.

All rooms are individually temperature controlled with heat and air conditioning, so you'll be in complete control of your comfort.

Relax in the library, have a drink in the parlor, grab a bite to eat from the snack basket in the kitchen, or look through the maps and brochures in the foyer for ideas of what to do in Missoula.

And you owe it to yourself to experience this Victorian luxury.
Tempted? Book a stay at The Gibson Mansion Bed & Breakfast and beat those winter blues.
