Sea Life Aquarium In Missouri Is A Destination The Whole Family Will Love

Embark on an unforgettable adventure at Sea Life Aquarium in Kansas City, a spectacular 28,000-square foot aquarium that offers fun, interactive experiences for the whole family.

Wear comfy shoes for your journey through the aquarium, which takes an average of an hour and a half and features 11 interactive experiences.

Bring your camera or make sure your smartphone is charged. After all, how often do you get to visit, up close, with an octopus, sharks, and jellyfish?

Stop by the Harbor Exhibit, where you can get a close-up view of the stingrays. Keep an eye out for the baby stingrays, too.

Other popular exhibits include the jellyfish exhibit, the seahorse exhibit, and the interactive rock pool exhibit. Feel as though *you* are being watched as countless lookdown fish swim by you.

And, kids and adults of all ages will love the Doodle Reef. Draw your own fish or sea creature on a tablet. Then, marvel as the fish and sea creatures leap alive on a television screen.

Don't forget to visit with Gertrude the green sea turtle. Then, stop by the Turtle Rescue Center, which opened in February 2019. There, you can watch as rescued turtles, who can no longer live in the wild, enjoy their forever home.

Of course, before you leave, you might want to take a detour to the gift shop to stock up on souvenirs. Even if you're not planning to explore the aquarium, you can shop at the gift shop without paying admission.
