There’s nothing more magical than dinner with a view. Detroit’s skyline is nothing short of breathtaking, and those of us who hail from the Motor City can’t help but feel overwhelmed with pride when we gaze at it. Here are eight awesome restaurants throughout Detroit that give way to marvelous views of the skyline.
Editor’s Note: Sadly, Briggs Detroit is no longer open. However, there are plenty of other interesting places to dine near Detroit! Giovanni’s is a bit of a hike, but boy, is it worth it.

1. Iridescence (2901 Grand River Ave.)
When it comes to skyline views, it’s nearly impossible to beat Iridescence. We’ve featured this delightful eatery before, but its beauty, dedication to service, and amazing atmosphere make it impossible to resist. Iridescence offers fine dining on the 16th floor of the Renaissance Center, a Detroit icon in itself. Marvel at sparkling city lights as you dine with loved ones high above the streets.
2. Prism (555 E Lafayette St.)
