If You Live In Maine, You Must Visit This Unbelievable Thrift Store At Least Once

Maine has no shortage of fun and fabulous flea markets and vintage shops. Many are compact and easy to navigate in a short amount of time. But, if you take thrifting as seriously as we do AND you appreciate the local artisans that can be found throughout Vacationland, you absolutely must take a trip to this special place in Portland.

The Portland Flea-For-All is a vintage, antique and artisan market located in downtown Portland.

It used to be located off-the-beaten path in the Bayside neighborhood, but last year it moved to its current location on Congress.

The new location is sunny and sprawling, with tons of fun nooks, crannies and back rooms to explore.

What makes this all possible is their rotating vendors, artists and consignors.

Each one has their own section of the shop, but the store is curated in a way that keeps everything cohesive.

While many thrift stores are great for simply browsing, we love the Flea-For-All because if you have something special in mind, there’s a good chance you’ll find it here.

Need an elf phone?! Look no further!

The shop is arranged to provide inspiration for your own home, so you might find it hard NOT to walk away with something.

The front section includes lots of fun vintage finds for the home - from furniture to accessories.

But, an entire world awaits in the back!

There's an entire section for vintage clothing, from perfect 70s dresses to unique t-shirts, hats and bags.

And even some fun salvaged stuff for constructing your own vintage-feel space.

We love the focus placed on Maine.

And, we especially love the record section in the back room.

Beyond the incredible finds here, we love that the Flea-For-All works to build a community resource that facilitates and supports creation and restoration.

Vendors come here because they can build their small business more easily through the low costs and high volumes of the shared space.

Shoppers come here because it's a true marketplace where just about anyone can find something that's special to them.

The Portland Flea-For-All is open Friday from 12pm to 5pm and Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 5pm.
