The massive lake is perfect for fun water toys like jet skiing and boating.
Bring your fishing gear! The freshwater lake is a great spot to drop a line, and it's stocked with largemouth bass, bluegill sunfish, channel catfish, black crappie, striped bass, chain pickerel, bream, and white perch.
Personally, I enjoy the slow pace of a canoe/kayak.
Unexpected perk! And as you can see, there are plenty of benches peppered around, and just behind the beach are grassy areas with even more picnic benches and tables to sprawl out.
If you just can't pry yourself away from this stunning setting, consider bringing your camping gear and making a weekend out of it!
