Broken Wheel Brewery was established by Marksville native Jonathan Knoll and his Colorado buddy Chris Pahl in 2015. They regularly brew four different beers, along with a few seasonal brews you won’t want to miss. 2. Cajun Brewing
Located in Lafayette, Cajun Brewery has been brewing handcrafted beer for Cajun Country since 2015. Their team is always experimenting with new beers and flavor profiles, and their tasting room has 15 rotating beers on tap. Check them out at 206 Rayburn St., Lafayette, LA 70506.
3. Covington Brewhouse
Located in a historic 140-year-old building in downtown Covington, Covington Brewhouse is a leading the game when it comes to brewing beers. Their free brewery tours are offered every Saturday at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to learn how their beer is made, then swing by the tasting room for a flight of beers. Address: 226 E. 4. Flying Heart Brewery
What began as a fun hobby between friends has turned into one of northern Louisiana’s favorite breweries. Established in 2014, Flying Heart Brewing serves six beers year-round and rotates several seasonal beers. 5. Gnarly Barley
They may have a funny name, but they’re serious about their beer. Established in 2014, Gnarly Barley has won several awards for their craft brews, so swing by and take a tour to learn how it's made. Address: 1709 Corbin Rd., Hammond, LA 70403
6. Mudbug Brewery
Founded in 2011, this Cajun brewery nestled down in Thibodaux features eight different taps, including flagship beers and some seasonal brews mixed in. Address: 1878 Highway 3185, Thibodaux, LA 70301
7. Parish Brewing Company
Parish Brewing Company has been a regional favorite since it opened in 2008. Their popular beer, Canebrake, was flying off the shelves faster than they could keep it in stock when they first introduced it, and you’re doing yourself a disservice if you haven’t tried one yet. 8. Wayward Owl
Justin and Kristin Boswell started Wayward Owl in 2016 and they’ve been brewing amazing beer ever since. They have several beers on tap and are constantly introducing new seasonal beers that you’re sure to love. Address: 3940 Thalia St., New Orleans, LA 70125
9. Flying Tiger
Located in Monroe, the Flying Tiger has four flagship beers and multiple rotating beers on tap. From milk stouts to blonde lagers, there’s something for everyone at the Flying Tiger. Swing by for a pint at 506 N. 2nd St., Monroe, LA 71201.
