One of the best reasons to live in Louisiana is the food. There’s nothing better than sitting down and having some good Cajun and Creole cuisine, especially crawfish. Crawfish season just started and to celebrate we’ve gathered up some of the best places around the state to get your crawfish fix.

1. Cajun Claws (Abbeville)

2. Crawdaddy's Kitchen (Shreveport)

3. Whitetails (Krotz Springs)
A little gem in the middle of nowhere, this place will make you feel right at home. Location: 24399 Highway 190 Krotz Springs, LA 70750
4. Louisiana Cajun Seafood (Baton Rouge)
Louisiana Cajun Seafood is a casual little joint that is a popular place to grab some crawfish in Baton Rouge. Seasoned to perfection, there’s a reason there’s always a line at this place!

5. Crawfish Barn (Vidrine)
A fun little sports bar that serves amazing Cajun and Creole food. Location: 1789 Mayeauxville Rd, Ville Platte, LA 70586
6. Don's Seafood (Lafayette)
Don’s Seafood opened in 1934, and it’s still owned and operated by the Landry family. With locations in Lafayette, Dedham Springs, Gonzales, Hammond, Covington, and Metairie, you’re never far from some amazing mud bugs. Location: 4309 Johnston St, Lafayette, LA 70503
7. Crawfish Town USA (Henderson)
Tucked away in a barn from the early 1900s, Crawfish Town USA has been in business since 1986, and serves some of the best crawfish in the area. Location: 2815 Grand Point Highway, Henderson, LA 70517
8. Heinen's Boil and Go (Lake Charles)
Don’t let the size of this place fool you. This place had been in business for over 15 years, and they just keep getting better with age. It’s the perfect place to grab some perfectly seasoned crawfish on the go. Location: 823 University Dr Lake Charles, LA 70605
9. Salvo's (Belle Chasse)
With over 30 years under their belt, this family owned restaurant has won over the hearts and stomachs of Belle Chasse residents. They also sell their own seafood boil, so you can have a taste of Salvo’s whenever you want. Location: 7742 Hwy. 23 Belle Chasse, LA 70037
10. Swamp Daddy’s (Alexandria)
No frills, all flavor. Location: 55 MacArthur Dr, Alexandria, LA 71303
11. Tony’s Seafood (Baton Rouge)
Family owned and operated since 1959, Tony’s is the place to go for your Cajun needs. Not only do they have amazing crawfish, but be sure to try their boudin balls. Bonus: They’ll ship nation wide! Location: 5215 Plank Road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana
12. Crazy Bout Crawfish Cajun Café (Breaux Bridge)
You can’t talk about crawfish and not mention Breaux Bridge, the crawfish capital of the world. This amazing place has been crazy bout crawfish since 2007 and it’s certainly made us crazy bout crawfish as well. Location: 1905 Rees St. in Breaux Bridge
