This Creepy Abandoned Hospital In Louisiana Is Still Standing…And Still Disturbing
Lindy Boggs Medical Center in New Orleans remains abandoned after Hurricane Katrina, attracting urban explorers.
Just before Katrina, the Lindy Boggs Medical center was a bustling and productive hospital providing services to patients throughout the mid-city New Orleans area. But Hurricane Katrina took a terrible toll on the hospital. A total of 45 patients lost their lives there after a power outage prevented life support and other crucial medicines from being able to be administered. Only three medical professionals were around to ease these patients on.
Today, the hospital still stands abandoned, fodder for urban explorers from around the country. Here are some of the most striking pictures of the hospital.
