Down the lane, between the trees, you'll find this restaurant as well as Chicken Mary's, right down the road. They've had a little feud going for years, but you'll have to be the judge of which is your favorite. For today, our main focus is on the magic that happens at Annie's.
Chicken Annie's is a must-have for any Kansan, and they've been serving us over 80 years of amazing chicken!

They (and others) call Annie's the "Chicken Eater's Paradise," and they're not wrong. Ever since Ann Pichler's husband became disabled in an accident in 1934, she's been serving hot fried chicken and sides to anyone that comes in the door.
The sign will even tell you - this place is something to crow about! Every item on their menu is the perfect pair to their crispy, juicy chicken.

You'll find they have every type of chicken available from hearts to livers and both white and dark meat. They even serve up delicious fish, if you're looking for a different pair to your bird.

The restaurant serves up a lot of delicious sides with your chicken, too, including spaghetti.

As far as chicken-themed restaurants go, Chicken Annie's one of the best in the Sunflower State and their fried chicken belongs on every Kansan's dining bucket list. It is truly amazing, and a meal here is one you're sure not to forget for years and years to follow!
