The Richardson Tulip Festival Will Have Over 300,000 Tulips In Bloom This Spring
If you’re familiar with Richardson Farm in Spring Grove, then you already know about its corn maze and a variety of family-friendly activities that make for a fun day. But starting in Spring 2021, it will be known for another exciting addition. From mid-April through mid-May, the farm will host the Richardson Tulip Festival and you won’t want to miss it.
Richardson Farm started as a homestead in 1836 by Robert Richardson who moved here from England. It started out as a 240-acre farm, growing to include over 544 acres and two farmsteads over the years.
The farm is best known for its corn maze, dubbed the "World's Largest" at 28 acres with 9 to 10 miles of winding trails. It could take quite a long time to find your way through this maze!
Aside from the corn maze, there's a 700-foot zip line, zorbing, train and wagon rides, a petting zoo, pumpkin patch, sunflower festival, Christmas trees, and so much more to keep you and your family entertained and coming back for more all year long.
In the spring of 2021, the Richardson Tulip Festival will make its debut as the latest exciting addition to the farm!
Although the exact dates of the Tulip Festival are not yet known as they are at the mercy of Mother Nature, it is expected that it will begin in mid-April and run through mid-May.
When the eight acres of tulip fields are in bloom, you'll see an explosion of vibrant colors. A visit during this time is bound to be an unforgettable, picture-perfect experience.
The Richardson Tulip Festival will run every day from 11 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. mid-April through mid-May. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time online for the cost of $12 for Monday through Friday and $15 for Saturday and Sunday. Children under three years old are free.
The farm also charges a fee of $100 if you are a professional photographer. Visit the website for more information on its photography policy.
