It has some of the nicest outdoor seating in town and features an outdoor patio with couches and cornhole. This is a great place to enjoy a community atmosphere.
The interior is lit with natural light and includes space for more than 100 guests typically, though physical distancing guidelines have limited the number of people who can be inside.
When it comes to the food, the restaurant is mostly known for its chicken, which is prepared jerk-style. Jerk is a special blend of seasonings like BBQ, and it originates in Jamaica.
Sides include rice, collard greens, sweet potato fries, rice and peas, fried plantains, mac and cheese, candied yams, and much more. The restaurant also does breakfast. Favorites are chicken and waffles, shrimp and grits, ackee and saltfish, callaloo and saltfish, breakfast tacos, pancakes, French toast, and omelets.
