One of my favorite ways to spend the day is at the lake and here in Idaho, there are hundreds of bodies of water to choose from. While you can always share the water with countless others, I prefer a little peace and solitude. Tucked away in the Selkirk Mountains is one lake that is so little-known, you won’t have to fight the crowds. In fact, you may just have it all to yourself. Hunt Lake is one of the most beautiful alpine lakes in northern Idaho and is certainly worth a visit. But, a visit to this remote lake in Idaho does require a little bit of extra effort.
