Tubbs Hill is a public park consisting of over 120 acres. The park contains several hiking trails which lead to multiple beaches off of Lake Coeur d'Alene.
The entrance to this beautiful park is located at 210 South 3rd Street in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
The most commonly trafficked trail is a two and a half mile loop trail that runs around the base of the hill and branches off into many swimming hole areas.
It's likely that you'll even spot some wildlife such as a deer on your way to one of the beaches.
This hike is perfect for families. It's not too strenuous, well maintained, and is relatively short depending on which swimming hole you decide to stop at.
Although the park is just a short distance from the Coeur d'Alene Resort, it will feel like you're deep in the Idaho wilderness!
As you hike around the hill, you'll have an amazing view of the endless waters of Lake Coeur d'Alene. It doesn't get much better than this amazing scenery!
There is over a mile of shoreline accessible off of the trail. Even if you find the more popular spots too crowded for your liking, you can always just hike a little further to find something more secluded.
Coastal towns have nothing on the downright gorgeous lake beaches hiding away in Idaho. Be sure to put this hike on your to-do list before summer is over!
