Georgians love Waffle House. It’s a no-brainer. We are extremely proud to call this waffle chain a true Georgian staple, especially since the very first one opened in 1955 Avondale Estates, Georgia.
However, beyond grabbing such delicious waffles at the most obvious joint around, there are a ton more spots in Georgia to satisfy your waffle cravings that maybe you wouldn’t have known about. That’s why we’re here…to make your weekend afternoon, and really any morning you’d like, delectably delightful.

Don't youuuu....forget about me....don't, don't, don't, don't! See what we did there. The Breakfast Club has been serving up incredible breakfast for YEARS now, but the waffles (my goodness), you HAVE to order the pecan waffles. They are revolutionary.

Are you ready for a once-in-a-lifetime waffle experience? Then you must try the Cinnamon Waffle at Chick-a-Biddy. Crisp and golden on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside, then glazed over with cinnamon sugar, and waffle divots filled with icing. Mmm mmm.
7. Nana G’s Chik-n-Waffles - Downtown Atlanta, GA 30303
This roaming food truck in Atlanta is basically driving around with heaven inside their vehicle. Those crispy, yet soft and pillowy waffles are paired with crunchy, juicy chicken and spiced the heck out-it is a true revelation in the waffle-industry.
8. Drēm - 3590 Old Atlanta Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024
This adorable cafe in north Georgia probably has the most impressive selection of waffles in the state. Not only can you indulge in the regular waffles (syrup, fruit, crunchy, sweet goodness) but you can also get a couple of more unique choices, like the egg and bacon waffles, the smoked salmon lox waffles, or the decadent dessert waffle topped with gelato and chocolate sauce.

H&H Restaurant in Macon, Georgia is a soul food staple, and a true gem in the heart of Georgia. Not to mention their chicken and waffles cannot be beat.
