1. January: The Albany – Cheyenne

Why not kick off the year with dinner at one of Wyoming's oldest establishments? The Albany is a great spot for a classic Cowboy State dinner and it is easily one of the best restaurants in Wyoming. Here, you'll find delicious food and a lot of history. The Albany is open Monday to Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Closed on Sunday.

2. February: Cavalryman Steakhouse – Laramie

Take your date out to dinner for Valentine's Day in February. The Cavalryman Steakhouse in Laramie is one of the most romantic restaurants in Wyoming and it serves up delicious food. This is one restaurant you may find yourself craving for months to come. Reservations must be made to attend this superior Wyoming restaurant. Events are also posted regularly on Facebook.

3. March: Cowboy Cafe – Dubois and Sheridan

Shake off some winter blues with a drive down to Dubois in March. The Cowboy Cafe serves up the best pie in the state—treat yourself! There's also a location in Sheridan, Wyoming, as well. Both are open Thursday to Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Closed on Wednesday.

4. April: Woods Landing – Jelm

Head into the woods when the wildflowers start to bloom! A dinner at Wood's Landing is sure to put a smile on your face. And if you wish to stay for a while (which we strongly recommend), book a stay at the resort, where you'll find a variety of accommodation options ranging from cabins to RV sites. Restaurant hours vary by season.

5. May: Lira's – Lingle

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo at one of Wyoming's most beloved cantinas. Lira's serves up delicious and fresh Mexican dishes in the small community of Lingle. The pork chili and fried tacos are some of their most highly recommended menu items! Lira's restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11  a.m. to 2  p.m. and 4 p.m. to 7:45  p.m. Closed Monday and Sunday.

6. June: Hotel Irma – Cody

June is rodeo season! Head to Cody to watch the early renditions of the Cody Rodeo as it roars back into town. Then, dine at Irma's, one of Buffalo Bill's greatest contributions to the Cowboy State. For an overnight stay, book a room. This is a destination full of comfort and history. Restaurant hours are Monday to Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.

7. July: Svilar's – Hudson

Escape the busy crowds and visit a small town like Hudson in July. Svilar's Steakhouse serves up some of the best food you'll ever find, and it's the perfect way to treat yourself after a long summer day. Svilar's Steakhouse is open Tuesday to Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and until 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Closed on Sunday and Monday.

8. August: Pitchfork Fondue – Pinedale

Time to get a little rowdy! Pinedale's Pitchfork Fondue is the perfect way to wrap up your summer. This is a unique Wyoming dining destination where you will experience an incredible Western outdoor cookout. Keep in mind that Pitchfork Fondue is seasonal and has limited hours, although catering is available throughout the year. Reservations are strongly recommended. Visit the Pitchfork Fondue website for the most up-to-date information. Summer hours are Thursday to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

9. September: Ponderosa Cafe – Hulett

In September, visit the Devils Tower area. You'll enjoy the national monument without the crowds! Plus, you can dine at the Ponderosa Cafe, which serves great food and delicious fries. Hours are 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

10. October: Brinton Bistro – Big Horn

Take in some autumn scenery when you dine at the Brinton Bistro in October. This cozy little cafe is attached to the Brinton Museum, which features Western art. Plan to stay a while when you dine here—the views of the Bighorn Mountains are incredible. The bistro is open Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for lunch as well as Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for brunch.

11. November: Historic Hotel Wolf – Saratoga

Winter is sure to be rolling in by November, so head to the small town of Saratoga and warm up in the public hot springs. Then, feast on prime rib at the historic Hotel Wolf. This hotel dates back to 1893 and the food is going to leave a lasting impression. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. Closed Sunday and Monday. Lunch is held from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dinner hours are 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday to Thursday and 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Dinner reservations are recommended.

12. December: Mill Iron Ranch – Jackson

Finally, end the year with a truly bucket-list-worthy experience thanks to Mill Iron Ranch. Their sleigh ride dinner is simply magical and may become one of your favorite winter traditions in Wyoming. However, if the snowy season is a little too brisk for you, horseback rides with dinner are also offered in the summer!
