Tucked Away In The Wisconsin Countryside, The Goose Barn Is Hiding Some Legendary Pizza And Ice Cream

The Goose Barn is a must-visit rural restaurant known for its pizza, ice cream, and country setting.

Located in the middle of nowhere, you might initially mistake The Goose Barn for a mirage. But The Goose Barn, along with its famous pizza and ice cream, is very real and very much a must-visit, despite its remote locale.

If you’re willing to travel for food, round up your gaggle and head to The Goose Barn in rural LaFarge.

A dairy barn turned restaurant, it’s known for its pizza, ice cream, and country setting – complete with pygmy goats, horses, and cattle.

The menu features a variety of pizzas in two sizes: 12 inches and 6 inches.

Sure to please everyone – from the picky eater to the adventurous one – the pizzas are garnished with traditional toppings as well as non-traditional ones, like taco meat and crabmeat.

The Goose Barn also serves Cedar Crest ice cream. And though it’s not made on site like the pizza, it is made in Wisconsin…Cedarburg, to be exact.

The pizza and ice cream are a winning combo, as The Goose Barn has only grown in popularity.

It started off with just three booths and two tables. Today, it has a 68-person dining room and an outdoor seating area.

Despite all the seating, The Goose Barn is often packed. Reservations are recommended.
