Located in Prairie du Chien, The Barn Restaurant serves up “the most unique atmosphere in the 2nd oldest city in Wisconsin.”

Not only is the restaurant housed in an old barn, but it overlooks the Winneshiek Marina on the Mississippi River.

Since its establishment in 1981, the eatery has been one of the top destination restaurants in southwest Wisconsin – and it’s easy to see why!

As soon as you set foot inside, you’ll be met with a charmingly rustic interior. Described as “rustic chic,” it's brimming with never-ending charm and unique décor.

Luckily, diners are encouraged to explore the spacious restaurant. And with so much to see, the wandering customer can easily discover a new nook and cranny of the restaurant during almost every visit.

Two full-service bars – each of which boast incredible vistas – are also among the eatery’s perks.
