1. Barnacle Bud’s (Milwaukee)
When craving your favorites from under the sea, you can’t go wrong with a visit to this Milwaukee staple, which, according to Coastal Living, is one of the nation’s best seafood dives.
2. Harbor House (Milwaukee)
This eatery may overlook Lake Michigan, but one look at the New England-inspired menu, and you’ll be thinking of another coast. Either way, your taste buds are sure to be pleased, as the seafood selection includes everything from beer-battered fish and Maryland-style crab cakes to shrimp cocktail and steamed lobster.
3. Gib’s on the Lake (Kewaunee)
Amazing views and even better food await at Gib’s on the Lake, a "high quality" supper club on the shores of Lake Michigan. In addition to USDA choice steaks and house-made pasta, the menu features a variety of seafood, including lobsters, scallops, mussels, calamari, and more.
4. Harbor Fish Market and Grille (Baileys Harbor)
Located in the heart of Door County and overlooking Lake Michigan, Harbor Fish Market and Grille has been delighting diners with great views, a vast seafood selection, and New England-style lobster boils for 20+ years.
5. Deep Water Grille (Ashland)
A one-of-a-kind dining destination, the food at Deep Water Grille is a mix between fine dining and a classic pub fare. The end result is a menu brimming with tasty options, including lots of seafood dishes. Chow down on Cajun shrimp stuffed mushrooms, Lake Superior whitefish, yellowfin tuna, and more.
6. Marty’s Place North (Woodruff)
Opened in 1982, Marty’s Place North claims to have "the most extensive menu in the Northwoods." And while that may be hard to prove, the menu does boast a broad selection, which includes lots of options from under the sea.
7. Dreamland Supper Club (South Range)
Since opening in the 1920s, Dreamland Supper Club has become synonymous with 4-course meals at a reasonable price. Today, the entrée selection includes a mix of high quality steaks and seafood, including the supper club’s signature dish – a 16+ ounce Australian lobster tail.
