One Of Oregon’s Oldest Restaurants, Omar’s Is A Classic Steak House

Omar’s in Ashland, Oregon, is a historic steakhouse known for its aged steaks, fresh seafood, and retro dining ambiance.

When you're in the mood for a steak, head to the beautiful town of Ashland to visit one of Oregon's most classic steak houses: Omar's. This icon has been around since 1946, and it serves up juicy steaks, fresh seafood, and more.

Omar's is one of Oregon's oldest restaurants, and it's the oldest continually-operating restaurant between Portland, Oregon and Redding, California.

You'll step back in time when you walk into this retro dining room. With its red vinyl booths and vintage photos on the wall, this place definitely has a classic steakhouse vibe.

The menu here is full of delicious steaks, and they're all aged an extra 4-6 weeks for even more flavor.

Choose from a New York Strip, Filet Mignon, Flat Iron Steak, or sink your teeth into a 1.5-pound Tomahawk Steak.

Fresh seafood abounds at Omar's. Try the Tuscan Fisherman's Stew or Seafood Alfredo...

...or ask your server what's fresh and in season.

If you're not in the mood for steak or seafood, try the smoked jerk chicken. It's a house special, and includes smoky, boneless chicken thigh with jerk rub, fettuccine, and peppers and sun-dried tomatoes. It's spicy and delicious.

If you've managed to save room for dessert, you'll want to see what decadent offerings Omar's has. The Coupe Denmark is the house specialty, but you can't go wrong with any of the fresh-baked treats here.

Omar's is open from 3 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., every day of the week.

If you don't have time to dine in, get takeout, or have your meal delivered.
