If you're looking for one of the largest restaurants in North Carolina, Caffe Luna in Raleigh offers an abundance of seating in five dining rooms, including the charming terrace. Locals and visitors have been enjoying the classic Italian fare offered here for 27 years. Let's see the success behind this enchanting place and why you might want to rent it out for your next special occasion.
In 1996 Caffe Luna was opened in the historic Montague Building in downtown Raleigh which adds to its vintage vibe.
And the business has grown from a small 80-seat restaurant to more than 200 seats.
Founder Parker Kennedy regularly welcomed guests at Caffe Luna before his retirement after two-and-a-half decades.
It is now under new ownership.
The main dining room
primarily serves about 80 to 100 people.
And the elegant Palm Room is a popular party venue.
To the left is the Tuscan Room which impressively opens up to the Palm Room, creating an even larger party room for up to 100 guests.
Folks often use these rooms for weddings and other reasons to celebrate, because life brings so many.
Catering comes from the exceptional authentic Italian cuisine, but so much more. Offsite catering is also available.
On a smaller scale, the VIP Room's elegant intimacy gives direct access to the Caffe Luna Terrace.
It accommodates up to 28 guests, ideal for rehearsal dinners, retirement luncheons, and other reasons to gather and celebrate.
We love the classic Orecchiette Antica, which is shell pasta sauté with Italian sausage and broccoli in olive oil and fresh garlic.
And don't forget to order the wine from an impressive selection.
Everything here tastes exceptional, especially when dining al fresco on the Caffe Luna Terrace.
