This Old-Fashioned Diner In Upstate New York Has A Unique Italian Spin

Not only does their menu feature all the American diner mainstays like omelets and chicken and waffles, but they're also known for Italian specialties that you won't find at most diners.

This charming diner in upstate New York is coming up on its 100th anniversary later this decade, and it's the perfect surprise if you're on a road trip and in need of some comfort food.

Nick's Diner, which first opened in 1927, is located in Oneonta, New York, about halfway between Albany and the Finger Lakes region. Hit this diner for Eggs Benedict, country fried steak, and French toast.

Hit this Oneonta mainstay for all of your classic diner staples, but also for a lineup of Italian specials that you might not expect.

You won't usually find a calzone at your local diner, but Nick's features a vast selection of Italian classics on its already loaded menu. You can even order a stromboli or pizza rolls.
