This charming diner in upstate New York is coming up on its 100th anniversary later this decade, and it's the perfect surprise if you're on a road trip and in need of some comfort food.

Nick's Diner, which first opened in 1927, is located in Oneonta, New York, about halfway between Albany and the Finger Lakes region. Hit this diner for Eggs Benedict, country fried steak, and French toast.
