There’s nothing more comforting than digging into the food we grew up with. For some of us, that’s comfort food like pizza or grilled cheese. For others, it’s the quick, fun food our parents bought for us as a treat while out and about. Today, we’re celebrating the latter! We have fond memories of standing in line at Puppy Love Hot Dogs in Concord. This iconic spot has stood the test of time and has been serving the best hot dogs in New Hampshire for over 45 years now. Read on for more!

If you grew up in the Plymouth or Concord areas you might remember the hot dog stand offering one of the most simple menus in the state. Just...hot dogs!

Our hot dog history starts back in 1976 when Pete and Jo Goodwin purchased a small cart and opened operations in Plymouth.

Just two years later they expanded to Concord, where you can still find them today. Having just one location means they can focus on the best flavors in one place.

The menu here is simple. Choose how many hot dogs you'd like, then select your toppings and condiments.

Topping options include the obvious such as sauerkraut, ketchup, and mustard.

But they also offer more unique options like sauerkraut, BBQ, celery salt, and tabasco.

That means there's plenty to keep you coming back for new varieties and combinations.

The best hot dogs in New Hampshire are available throughout the year.

From April to October, they have an outdoor cart that can be found just outside the restaurant.

And in the colder months, you can stay warm inside their location next to CVS and Hilltop Consignment.

They also attend local events in their truck, so be sure to keep an eye out when you're in the surrounding area.

Visiting Puppy Love Hot Dogs is one of the best ways to experience the nostalgia of simple, unfussy food right here in New Hampshire.

This iconic gem still operates just the way you remember it. To plan your visit, check out the Puppy Love Hot Dogs website for hours and their menu. You can also follow the Puppy Love on Facebook.
