But, there's perhaps nothing more comforting than a home-cooked meal. If actually cooking takes away from the comfort of it all, consider heading out to a local spot. R-B Drive-In, located in Helena, has been around for as long as anyone here can remember. That's a good indication that this just might be the best drive-in restaurant in Montana.

The drive-in got its start in 1948 and it was as popular then as it is now.

In 2020, while on a visit to see family, Casey and Anne Brooks saw that the beloved spot was for sale and decided it was time to take on the challenge.

They revived the menu and have continued to serve huge burgers, great sandwiches, and fantastic sides.

Burgers come in lots of varieties including the traditional single burger and cheeseburger. But visitors also love their Signature Capital Burger which comes with three patties and melted cheese.

People also love their famous fish and chips, which comes with their own special RB sauce.

Don't forget the chicken fingers!

And, of course, no drive-in meal is complete without fries or tots. You can also order onion rings or jalapeno poppers.

Anything you choose to order off the menu at R-B Drive-In is a great choice. In fact, we think it's best to come with a car full of people for a chance to sample everything.
