Try A Uniquely Fabulous And Sugary Concoction At The Retro Union Station Soda Fountain in Missouri
St. Louis Union Station Soda Fountain offers a nostalgic dining experience with epic milkshakes and classic diner dishes.
When's the last time you treated yourself to an epic sugar rush? The kind of sugar rush that left you feeling invigorated the rest of the day? That, of course, is just the side effect of digging into a delightfully delicious and sugary milkshake at this retro soda fountain in Missouri. If you're not in the mood for a milkshake, however, you'll have plenty of other ice cream goodies to try, too.
Welcome to one of Missouri's newest soda fountains, The St. Louis Union Station Soda Fountain, where you can indulge in good old-fashioned food and desserts.
The soda fountain, which first opened in the fall of 2019, offers plenty of seating, so bring along the whole family or your friends. Make sure you have a hearty appetite, too.
You've got plenty of scrumptious items on the menu from which to choose. If you love sugary treats, however, you'll probably go straight to the scoops and floats.
Sure, you can order a traditional shake or malt, but wait until you see the massive 22-ounce Freak Shakes, topped with everything from cotton candy to chips.
The Cotton Candy shake, for example, comes topped with such sugary goodness as blue cotton candy, rock candy, whipped cream, and a lollipop.
If you're a chocoholic, you might think you've arrived in paradise. The Everything But boasts such chocolaty treats as a chocolate covered pretzel and pretzel rod, a peanut butter cup, and a chocolate chip cookie.
Wait — there's more. The epic milkshake also comes with potato chips, whipped cream, and caramel sauce.
In the mood for a bite to eat with your artistic creation of a milkshake? (Don't worry. The Soda Fountain also features a slew of other drinks, including soda, tea, and even alcohol for the adults.)
Thumb through the menu, brimming with such classic diner dishes as hot dogs, tuna melts, and PB&J. You can't go wrong with a side of onion rings either.
Set off on a blast from the past at St. Louis Union Station Soda Fountain, open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
