This Backroad Maine Sandwich Shop Is Making Fabulous BBQ Sandwiches

While it's located off a main road, this spot is off-the-beaten path to those who don't venture away from the coast making it just one more reminder that inland Maine is pretty great.

Inside you'll get the unmistakable aroma of perfectly made meat, along with a menu of amazing sandwiches.

And that's where you'll find your way to the beef brisket sandwich.

House smoked on a warm brioche bun and topped with pickles & coleslaw (and in this case a hearty serving of bacon!) this sandwich is something of a legend within the walls of The Shed.

Though, you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches on the list, including the pulled pork sandwich, the Shed burger and the incredible ten pound sledge which comes with blue cheese crumbles and bacon.

Their home smoked prime rib is also a must-try after you've eaten your way through their sandwich list.
