A few days ago I wrote an article about unique restaurants in Indiana. I do read the comments in these articles and the comments told me one thing, my readers definitely wanted a follow-up article, and they had some suggestions. I took these suggestions into account, did a little research, and created a second list of restaurants in Indiana that are sure to give you a unique experience.
1. Gray Brothers Cafeteria (Mooresville)
With a menu that varies day to day, Gray Brothers Cafeteria is definitely unique. Their strawberry pie and fried chicken are a favorite amongst the diners. Gray Brothers Cafeteria offers dine-in, carryout, catering, and delivery! They have been a favorite in Mooresville since 1944.
They're frequently hailed as one of the best restaurants in Indiana.
2. The Schnitzelbank Restaurant
The Schnitzelbank Restaurant features an "Olde World" atmosphere. With a variety of platters ranging from local favorites to classic German food and a scrumptious salad bar, you just can't go wrong. They offer catering for any special event. This restaurant also has a gift shop for those of you who want a remembrance of your time there.

3. TC's Restaurant and Tavern (Battle Ground)
TC’s is a small town favorite! With a great staff and their amazing ribs and sandwiches, TC’s is always busy but able to give you the meal of your life. The parking and seating can be limited so this restaurant is one that requires you to arrive early if you want to beat the rush.

4. Sylvia's Brick Oven & Columbia Ballroom (Lafayette) (Permanently Closed.)
Sylvia’s Brick Oven & Columbia Ballroom features casual dining at its finest. With amazing cannolis for dessert and spaghetti and meatballs for supper (or even a great sandwich and chips), you can't go wrong. They offer dine-in and carry out every day all day long. They feature a ballroom for hosting all of your special events too!
5. Top Notch Bar (Brookston)
Definitely unique, Top Notch Bar is not quite like all the others. You must be 21 years of age to dine here. Beer and sandwiches, even steaks, are available here at Top Notch Bar. The bartender tends to be a jokester, so prepare to have fun and be entertained. With a simple menu and friendly staff, it doesn't take long to form an opinion about Top Notch Bar.
Easily one of the best restaurants in Indiana. You could say it's... top notch.
6. The Log Inn (Haubstadt)
Log Inn is noted as the oldest restaurant in Indiana. It was built in 1825. This is one restaurant that's definitely worth driving to as even Abraham Lincoln once stopped here in November of 1844. Log Inn has a unique menu including Family Style Dinners and A La Carte. This place in most definitely as unique as it's original!

7. Mayberry Cafe (Danville)
Mayberry Café has a home cooked feel to it. A unique place, the Mayberry Café is a step back into time and offers a setting like that of the Andy Griffin show! There are two floors and this café seats up to 150 guests! The Mayberry Café offers dine in, catering, and carryout.
We think this is such a cool restaurant in Indiana.
8. Aladdin Pita (Merrillville)
Considered a fine dining restaurant, Aladdin Pita is definitely a place to stop by and enjoy some Middle Eastern Cuisine! Aladdin Pita is fairly priced and offers several varieties of food and drink.

9. Zydeco's Cajun (Mooresville)
Zydeco’s Cajun is a fun place to eat. With their Cajun menu it's hard to pick favorites. There's a New Orleans feel to the whole place. With beads and posters on their brick walls, Zydeco’s gives that Louisiana feel to it.
It's definitely one of the more unique restaurants in Indiana!
10. Ivanhoe's Drive In (Upland)
If you're looking for a fun place to sit and eat, Ivanhoe’s is the place to go. Ivanhoe’s is famous for its variety of flavors of shakes and ice cream. having over 100 to choose from. Their menu is simple and anything you get will be well worth the visit!

11. Papa’s (Culver)
If you're looking for a great pizza place, Papa’s is it! Papa’s is family owned and operated. They offer more than just pizzas including hand cut steaks and fresh seafood. With 30 regional draft beers available and an extensive wine list you cannot go wrong.
Papa's is easily one of the best restaurants in Indiana!
