This incredible truck stop diner is one of the famous eateries on old Route 66. It was established as Dixie Truck Stop in 1928 when it was merely a sandwich stand and mechanic's shop.
It has since grown into a full restaurant with seating and buffet-style dining that locals love more than any other place in this tiny town of just about 800 residents.
The buffet features a myriad of comfort foods from meats like fried fish and chicken to beef and pork dishes as well.
