Most People Don’t Even Know This Little-Known Destination In Idaho Even Exists

Sweet Surrender in Ririe, Idaho, is a charming rural bakery known for its handmade bread, donuts, and breakfast and lunch dishes.

Idaho is home to multiple remote and lesser-known destinations like hidden lakes and lightly-used hiking trails. But, there are also businesses and places to eat that many people may not know exist, yet are some of the best gems in the state. Sweet Surrender in Ririe is one of these little-known destinations. This rural bakery in southeastern Idaho is where you can enjoy the most amazing bread, donuts, and other baked goods. If in the area, it’s one place to eat that you’ll be grateful you stopped to check out.

Welcome to Sweet Surrender in Ririe. This charming café and bakery is open for breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday each week.

This is certainly a small town shop and the interior is quite simple. Yet, you won’t be focused on the décor and design of this bakery, rather you’ll be focused on the food.

If you love bread like I do, you’ll be in heaven at Sweet Surrender. This bakery sells a variety of fresh bread and each loaf is prepared by hand and perfectly baked.

For something sweet, try one of the donuts, donut holes, or cinnamon rolls. There are also an assortment of cookies to choose from and each and every one is pure deliciousness.

And it’s not just sweets and bread you will find at Sweet Surrender. This bakery also serves handmade breakfast and lunch dishes.

Stop by for breakfast and enjoy everything from biscuits and gravy to French Toast.

For lunch, you’ll want to grab the daily special that ranges from sandwiches and pasta to soup and salads.

Sweet Surrender may not be large and fancy but it’s sure going to excite your taste buds when you visit.

If you are planning on visiting southeastern Idaho for the first time, make sure you find a place to stay that is cozy and spacious. And, if you are looking for something fun to do, check out the Cress Creek Nature Trail. This is one of my favorite hiking trails in Idaho.
