This Boise-based chocolate shop began in 1947 with Lee Nokleby and quickly gained a following. However, throughout the years, a few changes have been made. For example, in the 1970s, the shop was passed on to Lee’s son, and in 2020, Ken and Katie Fernandez, a father-daughter team and the shop's current owners, took over. New products and flavors have also been added to the menu since the shop's early days, and there are now two shops in Boise you can visit — 840 S. Vista Avenue and 805 W Bannock Street.

However, despite the changes, there is one thing that has never changed — the quality of goods you’ll find at Lee’s Candies.

This Boise chocolate shop is known for its flavors, attention to detail, and variety of products. The hand-made chocolates you will find at this shop are created using traditional recipes and techniques. Plus, each item is beautifully made — you’ll be excited for each and every bite.
