With Its Own Sand Box And Outdoor Dining Area, This Incredible Restaurant In Georgia Is Perfect For Families

Dining out with kids can be a challenge, especially when they're feeling on the hyperactive side. Sure, you can always go for a fast food restaurant or place geared completely towards kids where they can scream to their hearts' content, but we also get that sometimes you want to dine somewhere a little more... adult. Luckily, we have no shortage of family-friendly restaurants in Georgia that are great for eating  with the little ones. The city of Athens is best-known for being the home of the University of Georgia, but it's also one of our favorite weekend getaways in the Peach State. You'll find lots to do here, and one of the best family-friendly restaurants in Athens, GA is also among the city's most popular places to eat: Ted's Most Best Pizza. Let's check it out:

Ted's Most Best is located right in the heart of downtown Athens - it's just across the street from the 40 Watt Club, the city's most iconic music venue.

During the cool months, the patio is sealed off, like it is in this shot. There's also indoor dining available.

In spring and summer, though, you'll find an open-air patio that's perfect for enjoying the weather.

The restaurant serves up pizza (and to many in Athens, it is indeed the "most best"). You can also get salads, sandwiches, or pasta here.

If you're out with kids, this is definitely the place to be. There's a great sand box where children can enjoy their fun while waiting for the food to be cooked.

There's a kids' menu available for the little ones to get their own miniature pizzas - no need to share with the adults!
